Tuition payment is due by the first of each month.
For delayed payments you will have a grace period until the 5th of the month. After the 5th, a late payment fee will be considered by the teacher
Some months will have 3 lessons and others will have 5 lessons. For consistency, tuition will remain the same each month.
Extra fees may include sheet music, method books, competition fees, etc.
Payments are accepted through Cash, Check, and Zelle
Students are encouraged to continue through the difficulties that arise from learning a new instrument. If the student, parents and teacher agree to part ways or take a hiatus on lessons, parents must provide written notification by the first of the last month of lessons. Lessons not taken during a month will not be refunded
Please do not come to your lesson sick!
If you need to miss a lesson for a non-illness and non-emergency reason, please provide at least 24-hour notice to be considered for a makeup lesson. Because my schedule is limited, you are not guaranteed a full lesson makeup but it is possible to add time to your existing lessons equivalent to the missed lesson
If you can get the consent of another student to swap lesson times, that is allowed. Please provide 24-hour notice for lesson swaps as well.
Student initiated lesson cancellations within 24-hours for non-emergency reasons are not eligible to be made up
Lessons that fall on major US holidays (Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving) will be cancelled and rescheduled if desired.
Continuing piano lessons over the summer is essential to maintaining the new skill you’re learning! Of course people go on vacation so students will be allowed up to 4 weeks of no lessons during the summer months. Beyond that, your spot in the studio may be offered to another student on the waitlist
Additional activities will be offered over the summer such as a weekly summer day camp where students will engage in musicianship activities, social activities, masterclasses, and practice performances for peers
